Jalandhar: A marital dispute was settled in the Lok Adalat (people’s court).

Jalandhar: In accordance with the directions of the National Legal Services Authority, as well as the orders of the Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar (Mohali), and the District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Priya Sood, a National Lok Adalat was organized in Balachaur on Saturday.
A matrimonial dispute case, Rajwinder Kaur versus Harish Kumar, which was pending in the court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, SBS Nagar, was resolved. The Principal Judge, Family Court, Baljinder Singh Mann, and the CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, SBS Nagar, Dr. Amandeep, counseled the married couple and attempted to resolve the marriage through the Mediation Center and reach a settlement by mutual consent. Subsequently, both parties agreed to live together again with their minor son.
