Eco test now in Chamba Medical College
Chamba. Now people have started getting the facility of echo test in Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Chamba. Therefore, now the heart patients of Chamba district are freed from running to Tanda, Shimla and neighboring states to get Ike test done.
Tests of patients are being conducted every Tuesday and Saturday in Medical College Chamba. According to the data received from the medical college, echo tests of about 50 persons are being conducted every week. The introduction of ECG test facility in the medical college is a big relief for heart patients.
It is noteworthy that earlier, apart from Medical College Tanda and Shimla, people had to go to the neighboring state of Punjab to get the ECG test done for heart patients. Due to this, not only the patients faced problems in transportation but also had to bear the financial burden. Not only time was wasted, money was also lost.
Many times, due to unavailability of tests in Chamba, his treatment could not be started on time. On the other hand, Dr. Pankaj Gupta, HOD of the Medicine Department of Medical College, Chamba, said that echo tests are being conducted twice a week for the convenience of the people. Better health facilities are being provided in the medical college so that people do not have to go to outside districts and states.
