Hyderabad: 12,045 candidates appeared for 272 vacancies
Hyderabad: The Computer Based Examination (CBE) held at 12 centres on July 20 and 21 to fill 272 vacant posts in the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) was successfully completed. According to a release issued here on Sunday, a total of 18,665 persons were issued hall tickets and 12,045 of them appeared in the examination. On July 20, 11,724 candidates were tested in three shifts for the posts of Junior Estates Officer, Management Trainee (F&A), General Duty Medical Officer, Management Trainee Hydro-Geologist, Management Trainee Civil, Junior Forest Officer, Management Trainee (IE) and Sub Overseer Trainee Civil. On Sunday, the examination for the posts of Management Trainee (Mining) and Management Trainee (Personnel) was conducted in two shifts, out of a total of 6931 candidates, 4972 (71.73 per cent) appeared in the examination. Company’s Chairman and Managing Director N Balaram and Director (Personnel, Operations) NVK Srinivas visited the examination centres on Sunday to review the arrangements.
