Hyderabad: Due to financial crisis, woman killed her husband and attempted suicide

Hyderabad: A woman allegedly killed her husband by slitting his throat with a knife and later attempted suicide in KPHB on Friday night. The woman, Ramya Krishna, lived with her husband Ramakrishna in a house located in KPHB colony. On Friday night, the couple decided to commit suicide due to financial constraints.

According to reports, Ramya took a knife and slit the throat of Ramakrishna, who died within minutes. She then took the knife and slit her own throat. However, locals got to know about it and barged into the house. Seeing the woman lying unconscious, they rushed her to a hospital and admitted her for treatment. Her condition remains critical. Police are investigating. More details are awaited.
