In Tamil Nadu, temperatures will remain above normal until February 12th.

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that temperatures in Tamil Nadu will be above normal from Sunday (February 8) to February 12.

A press release issued by the central government stated:

Northerly winds will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal regions from Sunday (February 8) to February 11. Light frost is expected in one or two places in the Nilgiris, Dindigul, Salem, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Tirupattur, Vellore, and Ranipet districts during the early morning hours.

Meanwhile, the maximum daytime temperature in Tamil Nadu will gradually increase. Light frost is also expected in one or two places in the Chennai and Puducherry regions on Sunday morning.
