New Delhi: India and Cuba have signed an MoU for cooperation in the field of sharing successful digital solutions implemented at population scale for digital transformation.
An MoU was signed on Friday between the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) of India and the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Cuba.
MeitY said India will cooperate with Cuba on the basis of development partnership on digital transformation, to ensure smooth adoption of digital public infrastructure in Cuba.
It added that the MoU is intended to promote digital transformation (compared to India Stack) through capacity building programmes, exchange of best practices and other collaborative activities to mutually benefit the digital ecosystem of both the countries. have to give.
MeitY said the signatories to the MoU were MeitY Secretary S Krishnan from the Indian side and First Deputy Communications Minister Wilfredo Gonzalez Vidal from the Cuban side.
