Kandhamal MP Achyuta Samanta asks for votes for party candidate
Phulbani: Kandhamal MP Achyuta Samant today campaigned for the BJD party candidate for the G Udayagiri Notified Area Council (NAC) president election and sought votes.
Samanta organized a bike-rally which he started from Kalinga Mahavidyalaya and visited various areas of NAC. Later, he attended a public meeting in Ward No. 12 and urged people to vote for BJD candidate Debasmita Satpathy.
Kandhamal also laid the foundation stone of a community hall of Kali temple in Penala village. Later, he inaugurated a church at Panganaju.
Later, he inaugurated a community hall constructed at a cost of Rs 3 lakh in Ganjuguda village. After this he laid the foundation of Panchayat Officer in Gresingiya. Apart from this, he announced to give Rs 10 lakh for Market Complex and Rs 10 lakh for Biju Bhawan.
