KTR Meets Newly Elected Sarpanches in Sircilla Constituency
Winning the Parliament elections is easy but winning the Panchayat elections is difficult, said the BRS Working President. He said that when the Congress was in the opposition, it could not win 10 seats in Sircilla district, but now BRS has won in 80 villages. KTR, who met the newly elected Sarpanchs and ward members of Sircilla constituency at Telangana Bhavan in Rajanna Sircilla district headquarters, congratulated them. Speaking on the occasion, he called on them to put aside their daily routines and work together in the Panchayat.
KTR said that the people of Sircilla have embraced the pink flag. He said that in some places in the Panchayat elections, only candidates who were supported by BRS on both sides stood. He said that the MPTC and ZPTC elections are going to be held soon. He called on the activists to work hard to win the 57 MPTC seats in Sircilla. He said that everyone should fight against the Congress together. He said that the Congress is getting frustrated after seeing the pink victory. He said that the defeated candidates should also be brave. He said that they should contest in the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections. He said that the old generation leaders should move forward by integrating the new generation.
KTR said that CM Revanth Reddy is changing his words from time to time. He said that in a recent interview, Revanth Reddy initially said that he had won 66 percent of the sarpanch seats. He criticized that he immediately changed his words and said that the party has nothing to do with the local elections. He said that like CM Revanth Reddy, the defected MLAs are also changing their words. He reminded that Kadiyam Srihari and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said that they had joined the Congress for development. He said that now they are changing their words and saying that they are in BRS. He criticized that Kadiyam and Pocharam are in a situation where they cannot say which party they are in. He accused them of hanging like bats on the roof for a post like a grasshopper.
KTR made it clear that no matter how many anarchies the Congress does for victory, the people are with BRS. He said that the pink flag in the local elections is proof of that. He said that whether it is a sarpanch, MLA or MP, they should work for the people. He suggested that every paisa should be spent for the people. He reminded that Ambedkar had said in the Constitution how to run the government in five tiers. He said that even if the Center does not give money, the state funds will be there. He said that the Gram Panchayat funds will come from the Finance Commission. MLAs do not have the right to stop it. He made it clear that CM Revanth Reddy will not have it either.
KTR said that MPTC is the liaison for Gram Panchayat and Mandal Parishad. He also said that ZPTC is the coordinator for Zilla Parishad and Mandal Parishad. He suggested that Panchayats should be set aside with Panchayat elections. He called on the activists to work for the victory of BRS in MPTC and ZPTC elections. KTR reminded that dumping yards and Pragati Vanas have been set up in every village. He criticized that villages have become weak after Congress came to power.
