Major accident during roof casting, 13 workers injured

The accident took place in village Chikhli of Durg district.

Actually, a golf club was being built in a very large area of ​​Bafna. Casting work of the porch of this club was to be done. For this, the contractor had installed very weak centering. On Wednesday, when the workers were doing the casting work, the structure fell and 13 workers got buried in it. There was an atmosphere of chaos there due to the collapse of the structure.

Eyewitnesses told that during the casting, 8 workers were present on top of the 27 feet high porch. At the same time, 4 workers were below. As soon as the porch collapsed, all the workers got buried in that debris. After this, screaming started there. As soon as the information was received, the Jewar Sirsa Chowki Police also reached there. After several hours of relief and rescue operations, all the workers were taken out from the debris.
