Massive fire broke out in Meera Resort, panic spread in the area

Korba: A fire broke out at Meera Resort on DDM Road in the district on Monday night. This fire broke out in a hut built in the resort. The flames were so bright that they were visible from a distance. At present the fire has been brought under control. The matter is of City Kotwali area. According to the information, huts are built in Meera Resort. On Monday night, a rocket fell directly on the hut, causing it to catch fire. Due to this the hut started burning.

Seeing the fire spreading, there was panic and people started running away. The incident was immediately informed to the fire brigade and police. As soon as information about the fire was received, the police and city army fire department teams reached the spot. After a lot of effort the fire could be controlled. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief as the fire was extinguished on time. City Kotwali in-charge Rupak Sharma said that how and under what circumstances the fire broke out is being investigated.
