No action was taken on offering dog above Scorpio

Bilaspur. An incident of deliberately crushing a pet dog sitting on the road has come to light. The police called the accused driver to the police station and interrogated him but later released him. Rahul Kachwaha of Chantidih under Sarkanda police station has kept a desi dog. On July 2 afternoon, the dog was sitting on the road outside the house.

Later he saw the picture of the injured sitting in a pool of blood. Immediately took him to the veterinary hospital. Both his back legs were badly crushed. Rahul came back and saw the CCTV footage installed outside the house. It came to know from this that the driver Mahendra Kumhar, who lives in the neighborhood, is purposely ramming his Bolero vehicle on him. The dog was unable to get up after its leg got stuck in the wheel on the left side. He repeatedly tried to crush the dog by moving his car back and forth. On questioning the driver, he started saying that he deliberately did not allow the vehicle, but the CCTV footage shows that he is deliberately crushing the dog.

The owner of the dog, Rahul, complained about this at Sarkanda police station. Along with the video footage was also handed over to the police. After this the police called the driver to the police station but sent him back after making him sit for a few hours. No offense was registered against him. Station in-charge Raj Singh says that the matter is being investigated.
