PM, Rahul, Priyanka congratulate Kharge on turning 81
New Delhi (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wished Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday as he turned 81.
In a tweet, Modi said, “Best wishes to Mallikarjun Kharge ji on his birthday. May he live a long and healthy life.”
Rahul Gandhi also extended his wishes on Twitter, saying the hard work and commitment of the veteran leader is an inspiration to all. “Wishing Congress President Kharge ji a very happy birthday. Your hard work and commitment is an inspiration to all of us. Wishing you lots of love and good health,” he said.
In a tweet, Priyanka Gandhi said, “Wishing Congress President Kharge ji a very happy birthday, good health and happiness. Your knowledge and experience is a source of strength for all Congressmen and women across the country.”
Union minister Nitin Gadkari also wished the Congress president on his birthday and said, “Birthday greetings to Indian National Congress President Kharge ji. May you be blessed with good health and a long life.”
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also congratulated Kharge.
“Greetings and best wishes to Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge ji on the occasion of his birthday. May God bless you with good health and a happy life,” Yadav said in a tweet in Hindi.
The 81-year-old Kharge took to his Twitter handle to thank all the leaders for their wishes.
