Popular wedding caterer Hitesh Rathod missing since December 11
Mumbai: Famous wedding caterer Hitesh Rathod of Kandivali is missing since Monday. He left a note stating that he was in debt. The matter came to light on Tuesday when the employees working for Rathod found the note. They reached the police station and lodged a missing complaint. Rathod lives in Mira Road and has been running Yash Caterers in Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali West for the last 25 years.
In the note written in Hindi, Rathore says, “Dated 11/12/2023, My dear staff, you all supported me but I am leaving now. Sorry and forgive me. Don’t try to find me. I took a lot of loans and I am in debt and now I am not able to handle it.
“I am taking a very big step in my life, so please inform all the people who booked our services and gave us advance money for the booking. I can’t handle this anymore, I am depressed.”
This note was found by the employees along with their mobile phones inside Rathore’s office located in Veena Santoor Building.
Many families and couples who had previously booked Yash Caterers are currently worried about the status of their booking. Police said they have launched a search operation and are confident of finding Rathod safely.
