Selected youth received appointment letters in constable direct recruitment 2024

Raipur/Bijapur. Under the Constable Direct Recruitment 2023-24, 337 candidates were selected for the posts of Constable, Constable (Driver), and Constable (Trade) in Bijapur district. 11 candidates were selected for the posts of Constable (Driver), 11 for the posts of Constable (Trade).
Today, three candidates selected through direct recruitment—two Constables and one Constable (Driver)—were presented with appointment letters by Superintendent of Police, Bijapur, Dr. Jitendra Kumar Yadav, after medical and character verification. The greatest impact has been felt in the Abujhmad region of Narayanpur district, long considered a Maoist stronghold. Twenty-two new security camps have been established here alone. Additionally, 18 new camps have been opened in the interior areas of Bijapur district and 12 in the Maoist-affected areas of Sukma district. The deployment of security forces, even in vulnerable and challenging areas like Karregutta, has significantly transformed the situation.
The government says that these security camps are no longer merely bases of operations, but are becoming gateways to development. Under the “Niyad Nellanar” scheme, education, health, roads, drinking water, and other basic amenities are being provided to the villages surrounding the camps. The administration has accelerated development efforts by establishing new camps in 52 locations, including Tekalgudem, Puvarti, Tumalpad, Raigudem, Uskavaya, Nagaram, Pedabodkel, and Ursangal. According to security officials, this series of camps has achieved significant success in restricting the movement of Maoists and their sphere of influence. Regular patrols and administrative activities are now possible in areas previously difficult for security forces to access. This is having a direct impact on rural areas, where normal life is gradually returning.
