Indra considered acquiring Escribano but has not made any decision

World World: Spanish defence technology company Indra (IDR.MC) said on Friday it is analysing various opportunities in the defence sector, including with Escribano, but no decision has been taken yet. The statement came after a Spanish newspaper reported that Indra was considering acquiring Escribano.

Indra said as part of its strategic plan it is analysing various opportunities with major players in the defence sector, including with Escribano, but no decision has been taken to date. Escribano M&E is an engineering company active in the defence sector and is owned by the family of Indra’s executive chairman Angel Escribano. Escribano M&E holds a 14.3% stake in Indra.
