2 youths killed in road accident in Cuttack district’s Narsinghpur

Narsinghpur: In a tragic incident, at least two youths were killed while another sustained injury in Narasinghpur area in Cuttack district of Odisha on the Holi Festival day today. The accident took place in Sitarampur area under Narasinghpur Police Station limits in Cuttack.

The deceased persons have been identified as Abhimanyu Amanta of Saradhapur panchayat Krushnaprasad village. The other deceased is Ashish Behera (22) of Jagannathprasad. Bikash Behera (18) of Hatibari village has sustained injury in this incident.

As per reports, today they were returning home after playing holi on the Narasinghpur-Kamaladiha main road. Near Sitarampur chhaka they somehow lost control and hit a roadside electric pole.

As a result, two youths died on the spot. The third one sustained injury and rescued by the locals. He has been admitted to Narasinghpur hospital.

After getting information Police reached the spot and initiated investigation. Further probe of the case is underway.
