Amitabh Bachchan learned another language, watch video

Quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’ host and megastar Amitabh Bachchan learned the word ‘Tulu’ from a junior contestant and shared that he will speak these two words in front of his daughter-in-law and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In the 79th episode, Big B welcomed Pratistha Shetty from Vapi, Gujarat on the hot seat. Before the start, the contestant’s father said ‘All the best Kudre’.

Amitabh asked his father, “What does ‘Kudre’ mean?” To which the contestant said: “Guess what ‘Kudre’ means.”

Big B asked Pratistha’s father: “Is this the name of her house?”

“In Kannada, ‘Kudre’ means horse,” he said. The ‘Piku’ actor then said: “His pet-name…! Why do you call him that, sir?”

To this, her father said: “She keeps running here and there.” Pratistha further said, “They call me ‘Kudre’ and ‘Katthe’.”

The actor curiously asked: “What is ‘Katthe’?”

To which he replied: “It means donkey.”

Amitabh said: “This is Tulu, right?” Pratistha said, “Yes, my mother speaks Tulu, sir.”

The ‘Brahmastra’ actor then said: “I can now go home and speak at least two words. My daughter-in-law Aishwarya speaks Tulu.”

The contestant said: “He is from Mangalore.”

The 81-year-old actor said, “We cannot tell them these words, we will just say that we have learned two words.”

“They call me Prati,” Pratistha added. To which Big B replied, “Yes! This is good.”
