Kharge’s election mantra to Congress workers; call to reach out to the public.
Dehradun. Congress has started preparations to strengthen the organization and increase its hold among the public for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttarakhand. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has called upon party workers to go among the public on various issues including inflation, unemployment, migration and Agniveer Yojana. He said that party workers should not be limited to political activities only, but should understand the problems of the common people and connect them with the movements and campaigns of the Congress.
Kharge, who reached Uttarakhand, stressed on activating the party organization for election preparations. He told the workers that a comprehensive public relations campaign should be conducted at the assembly level in the coming six months. During this campaign, party workers should reach every village and area and listen to the problems of the people and connect them with the party’s programs.
Strategy to keep public issues at the center
The Congress President gave a clear message to the workers that in the upcoming elections the party will have to raise issues related to the public prominently. Issues like inflation, unemployment and migration are directly related to the people of Uttarakhand. At the same time, Congress has been raising questions on the Central Government for a long time regarding Agniveer Yojana.
Kharge said that the workers should go and communicate among the public on these issues. He asked the party leaders and workers to not only listen to the problems of the people but also try to connect them with the party’s movements and campaigns.
Public relations is being given an important role in the strategy of Congress. The party believes that before the elections, it is necessary to activate the organization up to the booth and assembly level and strengthen direct contact with the common people.
Extensive public relations campaign will run for six months
