Officials Lay Tarmac on Uncured Road in Munipalli, Raise Concerns

Munipalli, April 13: If the Congress leaders who boast that the government is taking special steps to provide better road facilities to the people want to know what will happen if road contract works are carried out, then you should look at the newly constructed tarmac road in Khammampalli village of Munipalli mandal of Sangareddy district. The same officials who say that bills will be sanctioned only if the road construction is carried out are acting as if they have nothing to do with it, even though it is obvious to the eye that the road construction is being carried out with poor quality.

It is surprising that the Panchayat Raj officials who came to inspect the newly constructed works from Khammampalli village to Chaurasta in Munipalli mandal on Monday stayed nearby and laid the tarmac even though the road was not properly cured. Locals are criticizing the officials for giving green signals to the authorities, saying that the fact that they are conducting inspections on the road and giving green signals to the road construction is a sign of negligence.

Locals are demanding that the authorities take action against the concerned officials who have been watching while the contractor is carrying out the road construction despite the high-ranking officials responding and saying that the road is being constructed without quality.
