Wife is not returning from her parents’ house, frustrated husband hangs himself
Korba. In village Umreli of Urga police station area of the district, a young man upset with his wife going to her maternal home committed suicide. 35-year-old Jagannath Yadav hanged himself in his house. The incident came to light when his parents returned from the Dashagatra program.
The deceased’s father Mithai Lal Yadav said that Jagannath was his only son. He had gone to the Dashagatra program in Kharsia area of Raigarh district with his wife. On returning, the door did not open even after calling for a long time. On suspicion, the door was broken with the help of the people around. Inside, Jagannath’s body was found hanging from the fan.
According to the information, Jagannath had three children after marriage. Some time ago his wife went to her maternal home with all three children. Due to this, he was under mental stress for a long time.
Urga police station officer Ajay Kumar Pandey said that the family had gone out on May 14 and returned on May 17. Investigation into the matter is ongoing. Police have sent the body to the hospital for post-mortem.
