Two arrested for selling liquor in Charra Mod and Sorid
Dhamtari. Action has been taken against two accused who were selling liquor illegally. Kotwali police station received information from an informer that a person is selling liquor illegally in front of Sorid liquor distillery. Based on the information, Kotwali police station conducted a liquor raid in front of Sorid liquor distillery and confiscated 11 quarters of English liquor worth Rs 2750 from a bag in the possession of accused Pushpendra Kurre, father Ramji Kurre, age 33 years, resident of Ramsagar Para Dhamtari and legal action has been taken against the accused in Kotwali police station under case number 10/25, section 34 (1) (a) of the Excise Act.

Police station Sihawa received information from an informer that a person is selling liquor illegally near village Charra Mod. On the basis of this information, Police station Sihawa conducted a liquor raid near village Charra Mod and seized 19 quarters of English liquor worth Rs. 3040/- and sale amount Rs. 200/- total Rs. 3240/- from the possession of accused Tikesh Markam father Rohidas Markam age 23 years resident Jaitpuri. Legal action has been taken against the accused in Police station Sihawa under FIR No. 05/25 Section 34 (1) Excise Act.
