Youth roaming with country made pistol arrested in bus stand
Rajnadgaon: On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg, the Kotwali police station is conducting a campaign against anti-social elements in the police station area to ensure peaceful and fair voting in view of the upcoming assembly elections 2023. In this context, today information was received from the informer that – a person is roaming with a pistol in Sangam Chowk Tulsipur, the people around are in panic, on receiving the information immediately police force was sent and they laid siege and he was arrested. From whose possession one piece of country made pistol and two pieces of 7.65 mm. Live cartridge was found which was seized on the spot. The accused is a habitual accused, previously facing crime number 198/22 section 324, 34 IPC, 895/22 section 302, 34 IPC. He has gone to jail in the case of murder, and was released from jail just a few days ago.

Due to the evidence found under the Arms Act, separate crime numbers 823/23 and 824/23 Section 25, 27 Arms Act were registered against the accused in Kotwali police station, Rajnandgaon and the accused were arrested and presented before the Honorable Court on judicial remand. On receipt of jail warrant, the accused was admitted to District Jail Rajnandgaon.
