Siddipet: Women hit each other with slippers for seats in TSRTC bus

Siddipet: A strange incident took place at Maha Lakshmi’s free travel service for women passengers in TSRTC buses in Siddipet on Thursday when two women quarreled over a seat and ended up hitting each other with their shoes.

The untoward incident started on a Secunderabad-Dubbak RTC bus at Venkatraopet village in Thoguta mandal. When the bus reached Venkataraopet it was full of women. However, when a seat became vacant, two women started arguing over the seat. The discussion soon turned violent and both women took off their sandals and hit them with their shoes. Even when some passengers tried to intervene and calm down the fighting couple, the two were unwilling to walk away victorious.

The driver, unable to control himself, had to stop the bus and call the police, who forced both the women to get off the bus and ended their discussion at the police station after filing a written complaint. Photos of the shoe game on the bus, taken by other passengers who did not dare to interfere between the two, have been widely shared on social networking platforms.
