A brother beheaded his sister on Friday in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Carrying his head in his hand, he roamed for about 800 meters in the village. Police reached the spot on the information of the villagers. After this the accused brother was arrested. Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Mishra said that a youth named Riyaz killed his real sister by slitting her throat in village Mithwara under Fatehpur police station area of Barabanki. His sister had eloped with the village boy. In this the case was written by his father.
Due to displeasure with the girl, the brother has slit his throat. Police reached on information and arrested him and legal action is being taken by registering charges. Neighbors told that Riyaz had a dispute with his sister Asifa over something. After waiting for some time, he came out of the house. After that when he came back, he asked his sister to wash clothes. Riyaz’s sister came out of the house to wash clothes and started filling water. At that time Riyaz came from behind and attacked the sister with a slap. Riyaz continued to slap on the throat till the neck was severed.
After this he raised his head in his hand and started going towards the police station. When the people around saw him going out of the house with his head bowed, they trembled. Immediately informed the police. The police arrested Riyaz on the way. Neighbors told that Riyaz’s sister had eloped with her lover in the village. On May 29, the family members had registered a case against the youth. The police had caught both the young man and the woman from outside the village. The youth was sent to jail. Whereas, the girl was handed over to the family members. He says that there was a lot of quarrel in the house regarding this. After this Riyaz did not like his sister. There used to be a dispute between the two every day.
