Car and truck collision, two people died
Hyderabad (IANS). A car and a truck collided in Medak district of Telangana on Saturday. Two people died on the spot in this accident.
The accident took place near Vallur in Narsingi mandal of Medak district, police said. Here the car’s tire burst, due to which the driver lost control of the vehicle and the accident happened.
In this accident, 50-year-old Turya Naik and his 10-year-old son Ankit died in the car. They were residents of Narasampally and were on their way to Chegunta. The driver of the car lost control of the vehicle due to a tire burst while passing through the Vallur forest.
After hitting the divider, the car skidded to the other side of the road and at the same time a container truck coming from the opposite direction rammed into it. Because of which both the people sitting in the car died on the spot.
Police sent the bodies to a hospital in Ramayampet for post-mortem. Naik had served as the Narsingi Mandal President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the past.
