Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin will participate in a campaign rally in Sirkazhi this evening (April 7) to support DMK and alliance party candidates for the Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Poompuhar, Nagapattinam, Vedaranyam, and Kilvellur assembly constituencies. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, after wrapping up his campaign in Puducherry last night, traveled to his father-in-law’s home in Thiruvenkata to attend the rally.
Subsequently, this morning, the Sirkazhi South Tamil Nadu Sai trio began their walk from Manimandapam. M.K. Stalin visited the farmers’ market there and inquired about sales and complaints from vegetable farmers.
Along the way, members of the public enjoyed taking selfies and shaking hands with M.K. Stalin. Later, he walked along Concert Road, Government Hospital Road, Vikari Upper Road, Bitari North Road, and the Old Bus Stand, meeting people. People gathered near the Sirkazhi Government Hospital to express their demands. Stalin, who was out for a walk, suddenly stopped at a roadside tea stall and had some tea. He asked the tea-seller how things were going.
Students who arrived there chatted with the Chief Minister and took selfies. He then interacted with the people present.
Seeing schoolgirls standing on the road, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin stopped his walk and had an interesting conversation with them. He also listened to the complaints of the people on the roadside.
