PM Modi will visit Tamil Nadu on February 28

Tamil Nadu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Tamil Nadu on a two-day visit on Saturday, February 28th.

Top BJP sources said: Prime Minister Modi will stay at the Governor’s bungalow in Chennai on Saturday night. The next day, on March 1st, he will travel to Puducherry and attend a government function. The Prime Minister will then address a public meeting organized by the BJP.

After completing his programs in Puducherry, the Prime Minister will travel to Madurai. He plans to visit the Thiruparankundram Subramaniya Swamy Temple. Following this, he will attend the inauguration ceremony of the AIIMS Hospital in Madurai and launch projects via video conferencing. Later, he will attend and address a public meeting of the National Democratic Alliance.

Meanwhile, railway officials said the Prime Minister will inaugurate projects related to the Southern Railway while attending a government function in Madurai.

Officials said this includes opening the renovated railway stations of Morappur, Bommidi, Pollachi, Karaikudi, Srivilliputhur, Cholavandhan, Thiruvarur and Manapparai under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, and starting new train services between Tambaram-Mangalore, Coimbatore-Dhanbad, Nagercoil-Charlapalli and Rameswaram-Mangalore.

Police sources said heavy security arrangements are being made for the Prime Minister’s visit to Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
