EPS to Visit Delhi Today: Talks on Seat-Sharing with BJP?

Tamil Nadu: According to reports, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami is set to depart for Delhi this morning.
With the announcement of assembly elections in Tamil Nadu on April 23, political parties have plunged vigorously into election preparations. Parties are also actively engaged in discussions regarding seat-sharing arrangements among their alliance partners for the polls. Although no official announcement has yet been made regarding the number of seats the BJP will be allotted within the AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tamil Nadu, reports suggest that AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the Opposition, Edappadi Palaniswami, is expected to visit Delhi today.
It is also being suggested that during this visit, discussions regarding seat-sharing—specifically concerning the number of seats to be allocated to the BJP—may take place.
Assembly elections have been announced for April in four states—Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, and Assam—as well as the Union Territory of Puducherry.
