We should work with the people as people: CM’s instructions to DMK members

Tamil Nadu: With only 10 days left for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has advised the DMK to work with the people as one.

On Sunday, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin posted on his X site: Only 10 days are left for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Over the past five years, every scheme of the DMK’s ‘Dravidian Model’ governance has benefited the people in various ways. Public opposition to the successful schemes we are going to implement in the upcoming ‘Dravidian Model 2.0’ governance is also visible in all constituencies. Our relationship with the people must always remain intact. In particular, we should do field work with the people for the next ten days. We must focus solely on gathering votes by going door-to-door in every village and distributing leaflets. We must also work in the field with the thought that I (M.K. Stalin), one of you, am contesting in constituencies where coalition parties are contesting, and must ensure victory.

Many people, including 92-year-old Dravida Kazhagam leader K. Veeramani, 80-year-old P. Chidambaram, MDMK General Secretary Vaiko, and 87-year-old DMK General Secretary Duraimurugan, are working in the field. DMK members are also working in support of them.

I have full faith in the hard work of the DMK members; we will form the government again in this election. The people have decided this. Congratulations to those who are working in the field, braving the scorching sun and summer rain. We have no match for our tireless work. To prove this, he said that if we work together with the coalition parties, then a big victory of the Secular Progressive Alliance will be certain.
