Kethepalli Police Bust Motorcycle Theft Gang in Nalgonda

Kethepalli police have arrested members of a gang involved in a series of motorcycle thefts under Kethepalli police station limits in Nalgonda district. Eight motorcycles worth Rs. 7 lakh and four smartphones were seized from them. Additional SP Ramesh disclosed the details of the case on Tuesday. The accused have been identified as Pagilla Shivakumar (19) of Chandur mandal center and Alugalu Vamsi Krishna (23) of Rajendranagar in Rangareddy district. Two other minors have also been revealed to be involved in the case.
On December 30, 2025, Pallem Narasaiah from Kadapa district of AP was going from Hyderabad to Vijayawada on his Yamaha bike. On the way, he fell asleep at Sai Krishna Hotel in Kethepalli village at around 11 pm and parked the bike in the hotel premises and slept. When he woke up in the early morning, he found the bike missing. He lodged a complaint at Kethepalli police station. The police registered a case and started an investigation. Today, at around 5.30 am, Kethepalli SI along with his staff checked the vehicles going towards Vijayawada at Korlapahad X Road.
In this sequence, four persons on two motorcycles were going towards Vijayawada and tried to flee when they saw the police. The police were alerted and detained them and questioned them. The matter of bike theft came to light. The police registered a case against the accused and remanded them. Additional SP Ramesh specially congratulated Saligauraram CI Kondal Reddy, CCS CI Jitender Reddy, SI Vijay Kumar, Kethepalli SI Satish, Head Constable Vishnuvardhanagiri, Waheed, Pushpa Giri and other staff who successfully filed the case under the supervision of Nallagonda DSP.
