Tamil Nadu: Light fog is expected in 13 districts until February 12th.

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that light fog will prevail in 13 districts of Tamil Nadu from February 12 to 13.

A press release issued by the central government on Sunday said: Due to a low-pressure area over the Comorin Sea and adjoining areas, northerly winds are likely to prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal regions from Monday (February 9) to February 14.

From Monday (February 9) to Thursday (February 12), light fog is expected in one or two places during the morning hours in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Ranipet, Vellore, Tirupattur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Dindigul, and Nilgiris districts.

On Monday, the sky will be partly cloudy in Chennai and Puducherry. Light fog is expected in one or two places during the morning hours.
