Indore: Bank employee brutally murdered following a drunken brawl; friend arrested.
Madhya Pradesh: A painful incident came to light on Tuesday in Aerodrome police station area in Indore, where a bank employee was murdered by his own friend after a fight under the influence of alcohol. This incident has spread sensation in the entire area.
The deceased has been identified as Jitendra Meena, resident of Sahu Colony, 60-feet Road, who worked in the loan department of a bank. According to the police, Ajit Meena was living alone for some time as his wife had left him a few years ago and a divorce case between the two was pending in the court.

Police investigation has revealed that his neighbor and friend Dharmendra Panwar had reached his house at around 11 am on Tuesday morning. Both of them sat together and drank alcohol. After this, a dispute started between the two over some issue, which gradually turned into a violent fight.
Meanwhile, the accused allegedly attacked Jitendra Meena with a beer bottle and water pump. He died on the spot due to serious injuries. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot, but later the police took him into custody.
According to local people, the two were already acquainted and would often visit each other’s homes. However, no one expected such a violent incident. After the incident, an atmosphere of panic was created in the area and a large number of people gathered at the spot.
On receiving the information, Aerodrome police immediately reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Police have registered the case and started investigation and the items used in the murder have also been seized.
Police officials say that in the initial investigation this case appears to be a mutual dispute due to the influence of alcohol, although all aspects are being thoroughly investigated. Interrogation of the accused is ongoing so that the real reasons behind the incident can be ascertained.
