Alex Carey was named Man of the Match for his performance of 178 runs and 7 wickets in his hometown.

Australia has won the series against England 3-0 with two matches remaining.

Australia won the third Ashes Test by 82 runs. Alex Carey scored 106 runs in the first innings and 72 runs in the second.

He also impressed with his wicketkeeping, taking six catches and effecting one stumping across both innings.

Alex Carey received the Man of the Match award for his outstanding performance. It’s worth noting that Adelaide is his home ground.

Alex Carey has become only the second player since Matt Prior in the 2010/11 season to score a century and take seven dismissals in a Test match.
