Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury’s Controversial Remark on Parliament

Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury made controversial comments today. She brought a stray dog with her while coming to Parliament during the winter session. She brought the stray dog in her car. However, ruling MPs accused the Congress MP of playing a drama. In this context, MP Renuka Chowdhury responded. She said that people sitting in the House are the ones who bark, not the dogs. She said that she was taking a stray dog to the veterinary clinic. She said that the government does not like animals and there are no laws to protect stray dogs.
She said that animals do not have a voice, that dog is in her car, what is the problem with it? It is a small animal, does it bite? People sitting inside Parliament bite, but not dogs. When asked about the dog in the car, she responded by saying that dogs should not be protected under any law.
MP Renuka Chowdhury is a dog lover. She has many pets at home. After leaving her in Parliament, MP Renuka said that her driver will take the dog to the veterinary clinic. The BJP condemned Renuka’s comments. BJP MP Jagadambika Pal accused the Congress MP of joking.
She was accused of violating protocol by bringing a dog to Parliament. She said that no one should be brought inside Parliament without any documents. She said that she is not interested in holding discussions in the House but is joking in Parliament.
